Jet Time (2006) (Copenhagen Kastrup) could operate services on behalf of ES-air (Esbjerg) connecting the western Danish seaside town of Esbjerg with Copenhagen Kastrup using an ATR72 this autumn. The Danish press says local businessmen have put together a proposal for the flights, which will operate 4x daily on weekdays and once on Sundays, but have yet to come up with the required USD5million in funding.

A fund-raising event was held on June 30 during which parties involved have pitched their proposal to interested investors.

Esbjerg Airport primarily serves as a heliport for flights out to the North Sea oil and gas platforms. Currently the airport is connected to Aberdeen Dyce by bmi regional (Aberdeen Dyce) and Billund, Stavanger, and Stord by DAT - Danish Air Transport (Kolding). The airport management also plans to get actively involved in the management of ES-Air should plans go ahead.
