Pegasus Airlines (PC, Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen) has taken over operational responsibility for its joint venture with Air Berlin (1991) (Berlin Tegel). It now operates the three B737-800s previously operated by subsidiary IzAir (Izmir Adnan Menderes) on behalf of Air Berlin Turkey (Antalya) on its own air operator certificate. It is unclear what role Izair will play for Pegasus going forward as it does not currently operate any aircraft anymore.
