Asialink Cargo Express (KP, Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta) is planning to add a first ex-Amapola Flyg (HP, Stockholm Arlanda) Fokker 50, PH-LMB (msn 20119), to its fleet of three Fokker 27 freighters. The Indonesian cargo specialist's CEO Joseph Mathew has told ch-aviation that the aircraft is fully cargo-enabled and will be re-registered as PK-KRP when it arrives in Indonesia later this month. While it at present operates as a cargo charter airline, Asialink is planning to branch into the scheduled cargo services market and, depending on the outcome of a feasibility study due next year, is also considering entering the passenger charter sector.
