Krohn Air (Molde) has filed for bankruptcy after suspending all flights effective February 4. A virtual carrier founded in 2010 to protest a SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup) decision to axe flights between Trondheim and Molde, Krohn had until recently, wet-leased a Jetstream 32 from Dutch carrier, AIS Airlines (Netherlands) (PNX, Lelystad), for its operations. Krohn had an infamous court dispute with Denmark's Sun-Air (EZ, Billund) over a disagreement involving the purchase of a Do328-100. Krohn lost the case.
