Air Alps (Innsbruck) has issued a press release announcing it would suspend operations on behalf of Rostock Airways (Rostock) from February 28. It currently operates a twice daily Do328-100 service between Bremen Hans Koschnick and Zurich on behalf of the German virtual operator. In its press release, Air Alps says that Rostock Airways would not have fulfilled its promises to invest in the Austrian carrier as part of the agreement between the two companies. Air Alps currently operates with a temporary air operator certificate that expires at the end of February unless it is able to find new capital to continue operations. Rostock Airways has now adjusted its website to show February 28 as the end of its operation on the route as well.
