Amapola Flyg (HP, Stockholm Arlanda) is set to convert two Fokker 50s into freighters with Netherlands-based conversion specialists, Aircraft Conversions. In a statement, the Swedish cargo carrier said it would convert two of its six F50s - SE-MFJ (cn 20149) and SE-LIR (cn 20151) - into Fokker 50(F)s.
Once converted, the turboprops are scheduled for redelivery in autumn of this year.
Amapola Flyg already operates a fleet of ten Fokker 50 freighters hauling freight on behalf of the Swedish Post Office among other companies.
