Aeroflot (SU, Moscow Sheremetyevo) operations to and from the southern Russian city of Rostov Platov will be curtailed over the period September 8 to 23 following news the airport's principal runway, 04/22, will be closed for repairs. The airport will then partially reopen to traffic between 18h30L and 08h30L from September 24 until October 24 following which normal flight operations will resume.

With the closure of the airfield during the USD17.2million upgrade exercise, flights will use Krasnodar, Stavropol, and Mineralnye Vody.
