Blue Air (Romania) (BLA, Bucharest Henri Coanda) along with Ryanair (FR, Dublin International), Wizz Air (W6, Budapest), Air Moldova (MLD, Chisinau International), Jetairfly (Brussels National), and EuroLOT (Warsaw Chopin) have all suspended their respective Paris Beauvais services with effect from June 3 until June 6 citing upgrade works to the airport's ageing infrastructure; most notably its apron.
The airport's management firm (Société Aéroportuaire de Gestion et d'Exploitation de Beauvais - SAGEB) says the works will cost an estimated EUR2million (USD2.7million).
