Asia Atlantic Airlines (Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) has announced it will begin offering scheduled charter flights from Thailand to Japan via Cambodia in September on-board its refurbished fleet of two B767-300(ER)s.

In a press released issued by the carrier, Asia Atlantic says it will roll out a 3x weekly Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Tokyo Narita via Phnom Penh flight beginning September 3 to be followed by a 4x weekly flight via Siem Reap in addition from October.

A subsidiary of the Japanese travel agency H.I.S, Asia Atlantic says it will target both the premium business as well as the tourist markets between Cambodia and Japan. It so far had only operated flights from Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi to Tokyo Narita, Osaka Kansai, Fukuoka and other Japanese destinations.
