Austrian Airlines (OS, Vienna) will resume its Vienna to Baghdad beginning in early 2015. According to Airline Route, the Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International) subsidiary will offer a 3x weekly service on-board A320-200 aircraft with effect from January 2, 2015.
Flights to the Iraqi capital were suspended in February this year when an upsurge in violence saw terrorists firing rockets at Baghdad airport.
