TUI fly Nordic (6B, Stockholm Arlanda) has retrofitted two of its six B737-800s with Split Scimitar Winglet technology Romania's AeroStar MRO provider has announced. The two jets, SE-RFU (msn 37259) and SE-RFV (msn 32669), have already undergone modification and have since been returned to service.

Italy's Neos Air (NO, Milan Malpensa) has also chosen to retrofit its fleet of six B737-800s with the fuel-saving technology. The ItaliaVola news blog states the Italian leisure carrier has already signed an agreement with their lessor, GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), concerning the proposed structural changes.
