Trade Air (C3, Zagreb Franjo Tuđman) says it is studying potential replacement aircraft for its fleet of two Fokker 100s. Airline sources who spoke to ch-aviation said that while the Croat ACMI specialist has no immediate plans to phase out its Fokker Aircraft (Woensdrecht), market demand for higher capacity aircraft had led it to consider the A320 as a possible choice.

However, Trade Air's Director of Marketing and Sales, Sanja Ples, has said that one of the operator's clients had also requested it study the B737 as well.

"As the biggest issue for small airlines – financing – has been arranged, the actual decision of the aircraft type will be made in coming weeks, and during the 2015 we expect to introduce first aircraft into the fleet," she said.

Alongside the Fokker 100s operating for its Sun Adria division, Trade Air also operates an E120 wet-leased from Budapest Aircraft Services (RP, Budapest) on scheduled flights connecting Rijeka, Zagreb Franjo Tuđman, Split, Osijek, and Dubrovnik domestically.
