Fuzhou Airlines (FU, Fuzhou) has secured its Air Operators Certificate (AOC) from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) paving the way for it to launch operations later this month.
Using an initial fleet of three B737-800s, the Hainan Airlines (HU, Haikou) subsidiary will offer scheduled flights between Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Shanghai Pudong, and Chongqing, before expanding further afield into the domestic Chinese market.
The start-up is owned by HNA Group (60%), the Fuzhou State-owned Assets Investment Holdings Limited (20%),the Golden Resources Investment Group Co Ltd (10%), and the Ningbo Rui Network Technology Co Ltd (10%).
