Capital Airlines (China) (JD, Beijing Daxing International) has announced it will commence international operations later this month with flights to Japan. The Hainan Airlines (HU, Haikou) subsidiary will offer a twice weekly Hangzhou to Okinawa Naha service beginning October 29. The flights will operate on-board an A320-200.
Capital Airlines is in the process of transforming itself into a budget carrier with its fleet consisting of twenty-seven A319-100s, seventeen A320-200s and five A320-200 (sl)s. Until today's announcement, its route network had covered China exclusively.
