Denim Air ACMI (Amsterdam Schiphol) will expand into the scheduled services sector after management bought out Panta Holdings B.V.'s sole shareholding in the carrier. From here on, the airline will be known simply as "Denim".

In a development that mirrors that of VLM (1992) (Antwerp), management said in a statement that despite the change in ownership, it will not abandon the ACMI wet-lease and (ad-hoc) charter market.

“As Denim we will continue to offer ACMI wet-lease and (ad hoc) charter services, but we also intend to start operating scheduled services in the first quarter of next year," Ronald Janssen, Managing Director/CEO of Denim, said. "We are in the process of evaluating a number of possible routes and suitable aircraft types. We expect to be able to communicate further details shortly."

Currently, Denim operates a Fokker 50, two Fokker 100s, and an E145 on ACMI wet-lease and (ad hoc) charter contracts for a variety of clients including tour operators, travel agents, sports teams, governments, the military, and NGOs.
