Iberia Express (I2, Madrid Barajas) has rolled out its first A320-200 retrofitted with sharklets - EC-LUS (cn 5501). The A320-200 (sl) was recently spotted at Madrid Barajas following its refitting with Iberia Maintenance.

"Iberia Express will install sharklets to four of its aircraft, the newest of the fleet, which were delivered by the manufacturer [Airbus] to Iberia Express in 2013," the Iberia (IB, Madrid Barajas) subsidiary said in a statement.

According to the ch-aviation aircraft database, the other aircraft slated for refitting include EC-LVQ (cn 5590), EC-LYE (cn 5729), and EC-LYM (cn 5815).

Iberia Express uses its fleet of seventeen A320-200s to operate Spanish domestic services as well as flights to Denmark, Germany, Greece, Ireland, the Netherlands, Russia, and Sweden.
