A second of the type, HP-1370CMP, (msn 29048), will also be retired later this year with both aircraft set to be returned to their lessor, Volito Aviation Services.

Sister carrier Copa Airlines Colombia (P5, Bogotá) will continue to operate four B737-700s on its own regional Latin American flights.

The Panamanian carrier will remain a predominantly Boeing operator with fifty-four B737-800s and fifteen E190s in its fleet.
