SpiceJet (SG, Delhi International) is to wet-lease a trio of B737-800s from Czech ACMI specialist, Travel Service Airlines (Prague Václav Havel), for a period of three months and beginning this month. The first jet, OK-TSA (msn 29250), was recently spotted in Prague Václav Havel sorting a hybrid livery ahead of its ferry flight to India.
As part of its turnaround programme, Spicejet intends to increase its B737 fleet from the current seventeen, to twenty-six by summer and thirty-three by the end of the year.
