Tibet Airlines (TV, Lhasa) has applied to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to expand its operational parameters to include the carriage of cargo and passengers to neighbouring countries.

Currently, it is restricted to operating cargo and passenger services within China including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. It does not currently serve the three markets yet though.

The Air China (CA, Beijing Capital) subsidiary currently operates twelve A319-100s on flights throughout China but has plans to acquire a maiden widebody aircraft - an A330-200 - at some point in the future.
