Med-View Airline (Kano) will shortly take delivery of a former Aeroméxico (AM, México City International) B767-300 under a lease-purchase deal signed with Dutch lessor, Aercap, earlier this year. According to Skyliner Aviation, 5N-BQN (msn 26261) was recently spotted at Goodyear featuring the Nigerian carrier's livery ahead of its ferry flight to West Africa.
Med-View is planning to use the aircraft, set to become its first owned widebody aircraft, on long touted flights from Abuja to Dubai International via Jeddah International beginning this November.
Launched in 2007, Med-View currently operates three B737-400s and one B737-500 on flights to Enugu, Port Harcourt Awolowo, Lagos, and Yola locally and to Accra in Ghana. Alongside its longhaul aspirations, it also plans to extend its coverage to include Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, and Liberia.
