Fly County Aviation (Nairobi Wilson) commenced domestic Kenyan operations on Monday, September 21 with 3x weekly flights from its Nairobi Wilson base to Voi Ikanga airstrip which is located approximately 10km northwest of the town of Voi in southern Kenya.
The start-up plans to extend the flight to include an onward sector to Mombasa as early as next month.
A virtual carrier, Fly County Airlines charters aircraft from partner Skyward Express (OW, Nairobi Wilson). Thus far it has been operating Dash 8-300 5Y-SMK (cn 407), a Cessna (single turboprop) Grand Caravan, and a Do228.
