Hummingbird Air (St. Croix Henry E. Rohlsen) has secured Part 135 certification from the US Department of Transportation (DOT) thus allowing it to operate scheduled passenger flights.
Certification in hand, Hummingbird Air plans to offer scheduled flights between the US Virgin Islands, Dominica, and St. Martin using its three nine-seat Beech 99 aircraft.
Hummingbird Air had, until now, only operated charter flights serving St. Croix Henry E. Rohlsen, St. Thomas Cyril E. King, Tortola, St. Maarten, Nevis, Dominica Cane Field, and Basseterre.
