Iberia (IB, Madrid Barajas) took delivery of its first HGW A330-200 on Tuesday, December 29. EC-MIL (cn 1694) is the first of thirteen such jets parent firm the International Airlines Group (IAG) has on order from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) with deliveries scheduled to run from now until 2018.
The A330-200s are slated to begin commercial operations on January 1, 2016 with flights from Madrid Barajas to Panamá City Tocumen International, Guatemala City, Montevideo Carrasco, and Santo Domingo Las Américas.
