Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) has disclosed several changes to its order book that occurred during the month of December 2015.
New orders registered (inclusive of converted options) included one A320-200 for Air New Zealand (NZ, Auckland International) and one A319neo ordered by a private customer.
Cancellations included one A380-800 and eight A320neo originally destined for defunct Russian carrier Transaero Airlines (Moscow Vnukovo) which collapsed during the last quarter of last year. The airline's three other A380-800s have since been transferred to an entity known only as "Air Accord".
Conversions included LATAM Airlines Group switching four A350-900s for TAM Linhas Aéreas (São Paulo Congonhas) to A350-1000s, British Airways (BA, London Heathrow) switching three A320neo to A321neo, and MEA - Middle East Airlines (ME, Beirut) switching four A320neo to A321neo.
