Air France (AF, Paris CDG) has converted orders for its last two outstanding A380-800s into three A350-900s a review of Air France-KLM Royal Dutch Airlines' financial statements for its 2015 financial year have revealed.
The aircraft were originally due to have been delivered from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) in 2013 before being deferred to 2017 on account of the Franco-Dutch carrier's weak economic performance at the time.
As such, the new A350 orders now bring Air France-KLM's overall A350 order backlog to twenty-eight airframes in total.
