AirX Charter (AX, Malta International) will shortly take delivery of its maiden widebody aircraft, an A340-300, Skyliner Aviation has reported. Formerly in service with SriLankan Airlines (UL, Colombo International), ex-4R-ADF (cn 374) was ferried from Colombo International to Bournemouth for maintenance last week. Once completed, it will then be ferried to the Mediterranean.
The Maltese charter specialist also operates three B737-500s, three CRJ200s, and two ERJ Legacy 600 (E135)BJs as well as two Cessna Citation 750 Xs.
