Icelandair (FI, Reykjavik Keflavik) says it has signed an agreement with an undisclosed firm for the purchase of two additional B767-300(ER)s. The aircraft, which will shortly undergo refurbishment, are expected to enter service early next year.

The Icelandic carrier already dry-leases two B767-300(ER)s - P2-PXV (msn 30341) and P2-PXW (msn 25365) - to Air Niugini (PX, Port Moresby). It also already operates one aircraft just recently delivered, TF-ISN (msn 30586), with a second one, TF-ISO (msn 29388), due soon.
