Austrian Airlines (OS, Vienna) says it will wet-lease a B737-800 from fellow Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt International) subsidiary, SunExpress Deutschland (Frankfurt International), with effect from June 1 until December 31 of this year.

The aircraft will allow Austrian to cover peak capacity requirements on its flights to Amsterdam Schiphol, Berlin Tegel, Bucharest Henri Coanda, and Copenhagen Kastrup.

Austrian has already agreed to wet-lease two other aircraft this summer: a CRJ900 from Adria Airways (Ljubljana) and its partner Nordica (ND, Tallinn Lennart Meri), and an A320-200 from Condor (DE, Frankfurt International).
