SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup) has withdrawn ten CRJ900ERs from service pending the conclusion of technical inspections of all their landing gear assemblies.
SAS said in a statement that the aircraft, wet-leased from subsidiary Cimber (Sønderborg), have been out of service since May 21. OY-KFH (msn 15240) is the only Cimber aircraft not affected by the temporary grounding.
The sudden reduction in capacity has seen a number of flights out of Copenhagen Kastrup cancelled over the past few days including: Manchester International, Bergen, Helsinki Vantaa, Düsseldorf, Brussels National, Vienna, Amsterdam Schiphol, Newcastle, GB, Aberdeen Dyce, Munich, Stuttgart Manfred Rommel, and Hamburg Helmut Schmidt.
