Wizz Air (W6, Budapest) has announced it will resume domestic Bulgarian flights during the first quarter of next year.
In a statement, the Hungarian LCC said Sofia-Varna flights would return from March 26, 2017. It began the route in July 2008 and suspended it in November 2010.
At present, Bulgaria Air (FB, Sofia) is the only known commercial carrier to ply the route offering multiple-daily return services using a combination of E190 and A319-100 equipment.
