French Blue (Paris Orly) has opened reservations for St. Denis de la Réunion, its maiden destination in the Indian Ocean. According to the LCC's booking system, 8x weekly flights from Paris Orly are expected to commence on June 16, 2017 using A330-300 equipment.
The Groupe Dubreuil subsidiary commenced operations in September offering direct flights between Paris Orly and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic using traffic rights which belong to its Air Caraibes (TX, Pointe à Pitre) sister carrier.
Given union concerns, it is expected French Blue will eventually pivot away from the Caribbean towards the Indianocéanie market where it will serve Mauritius as well.
