Kam Air (RQ, Kabul) has wet-leased a B737-500 from Ukrainian Wings (UWJ, Kyiv Boryspil) marking the Ukrainian ACMI/charter operator's first contract since securing its AOC earlier this month.
According to Skyliner Aviation, UR-BAA (msn 28052) was ferried from Kyiv Boryspil to Kabul earlier this week.
It joins the rest of the Afghan carrier's fleet of one B767-200, one Fokker 100 (leased from Bek Air), one MD-82, two MD-83s, and two MD-87s (both stored) used on scheduled passenger flights throughout Afghanistan as well as to India, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Tajikistan.
