Gulf & Caribbean Cargo (IF, Pontiac Oakland County International) has taken redelivery of CRJ200ER N405SW (cn 7029) following its conversion into a freighter with Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) in Miami.

AEI recently secured an FAA Supplemental Type Certificate for the type given the aircraft in question is the first of its type to undergo P2F conversion. Gven the platform's popularity, AEI says it currently has over forty-five firm orders and commitments for the CRJ200 SF freighter conversion.

For its part, Gulf & Caribbean Cargo, a unit of IFL Group, has a further three ex-CRJ200ERs, all ex-Air Nostrum (YW, Valencia Manises) airframes, awaiting conversion.
