Nauru Airlines (Nauru) has purchased a hangar at Brisbane International in order to improve the turn-around and maintenance of its aircraft at the Australian airport, Pacnews has reported.
The carrier did not respond to a ch-aviation request for more details regarding the investment.
According to the ch-aviation capacity module, Brisbane is currently the second most important airport for Nauru Airlines after its main hub at Nauru. The carrier operates four weekly departures out of the Australian airport, including two to Nauru, one to Honiara, and one to Norfolk Island. Its fleet entails three B737-300s and one B737-300(F).
