Flair Airlines (F8, Kelowna) took delivery of its first B737-8 on May 26, 2021, with C-FLEJ (msn 64941) having been ferried from Seattle Boeing Field directly to Calgary. A second unit of the type is expected to follow shortly.
The carrier plans to debut scheduled MAX operations on June 10, 2021, the ch-aviation schedules module shows, on a decentralised network comprising irregular flights to a total of 11 cities in Canada, with the largest number of services departing from Toronto Pearson and Vancouver International.
Flair Airlines has a total of thirteen B737 MAX 8s due from parent 777 Partners, of which the first eight are scheduled to deliver during the current summer season, with the remaining five due by 2022. The low-cost carrier's current fleet comprises three B737-800s.
