Air Côte d'Ivoire (HF, Abidjan) has officially been founded on May 15 in Abidjan. The ownership structure now has been adjusted and 65% of the carrier are owned by the government of Ivory Coast, 20% by Air France (AF, Paris CDG) and 15% by the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (which also holds stakes in Air Burkina (2J, Ouagadougou), Air Mali (Bamako), Air Uganda (Entebbe) and Meridiana fly (Olbia)). The new carrier is expected to start operations as early as July with two A319-100s and to later add an A330-200 for services to Europe.
