Etihad Airways (EY, Abu Dhabi International) signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) for seven A350F freighters during the Singapore Airshow 2022.
Given the order is still tentative, neither party disclosed any further details regarding delivery dates although the first A350Fs should arrive with launch operator Singapore Airlines (SQ, Singapore Changi) in the last quarter of 2025. If the LOI is firmed, the heptet will add to the Emirati carrier's existing fleet of five passenger A350-1000s.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Etihad's in-house freighter fleet currently entails five B777-Fs.
