Ryanair (FR, Dublin International) and Wizz Air (W6, Budapest) will be most affected by the temporary closure of Rome Ciampino between September 24 and October 2 for runway repair works. Ryanair has seven B737-800s based at the airport and operates around 40 daily flights at the airport. It has announced that it will move its flights to Rome Fiumicino during the closure. Wizz Air operates up to two daily flights from Bucharest Henri Coanda and four weekly flights from Katowice Pyrzowice to Ciampino.
