SAS Link (SVS, Copenhagen Kastrup) launched commercial operations on April 10, 2022, operating its first flight from Copenhagen Kastrup to Nice on behalf of parent company SAS Scandinavian Airlines.
The regional unit of the SAS Group obtained an Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) - SE.AOC.090 - and Operating Licence (OL) - SE.OL.090 - from the Swedish Transport Agency (Transportstyrelsen) in early April 2022. The new unit is the second SAS Group entity certified in Sweden, following the mainline SAS Scandinavian Airlines (SK, Copenhagen Kastrup) (which holds a single AOC covering Sweden, Denmark, and Norway). The group's third carrier, SAS Connect (SL, London Heathrow), is certified in Ireland.
The regional subsidiary of the Scandinavian holding took delivery of its first of its six E195s on April 6. SE-RSK (msn 19000120) was ferried after maintenance from Exeter to Copenhagen and has since been used for proving flights to Aalborg, Gothenburg Landvetter, Stockholm Arlanda, Malmö, and Aarhus.
Since the launch of SAS Link's operations, its sole E195 has also been deployed to Aalborg, Bologna, Bergen, and Paris CDG.
