SunExpress (XQ, Antalya) will damp-lease six A320-200s from Lithuania's Avion Express (X9, Vilnius) during the peak summer 2022 season.
The six aircraft will be based out of Antalya to support SunExpress's leisure routes out of the city. They will be the first Airbus aircraft operating for the Turkish airline, as its fleet currently comprises fifty-one B737-800s and nine B737-8s.

We are also excited to be back to and be based in one of the busiest destinations of summer in Europe - Antalya, and experience summer operations in full swing," said Avion Express Vice-President (Commercial) Dainius Staniulis.
The ch-aviation fleets module shows that Avion Express operates five A320-200s, of which one is in storage, one operates under a long-term contract with the United Nations Humanitarian Air Service, and the other three operate charter flights. Its sister company, Avion Express (X9, Vilnius), operates a further 15 of the type, of which 11 are currently wet-leased to Eurowings (EW, Düsseldorf), two to TUI Airways (BY, London Luton), one operates charter flights on behalf of the Lithuanian airline, and one is in storage.
