Fly Angola (EQ, Luanda 4 De Fevereiro) has doubled its fleet size with the recent delivery of two 50-seater aircraft from Avmax Aircraft Leasing - an E145 and its maiden DHC-8-300 - for deployment on its domestic network.
The aircraft are the 21-year-old EMB-145LR, N825HK (msn 145510), and the 31-year-old DHC-8-300, C-GRUR (msn 256), both delivered to Fly Angola in late October, the Canadian lessor announced in a statement. They will be added to a strategically planned mixed fleet on domestic routes. According to the ch-aviation fleets, the Embraer jet was formerly operated by Sterling Airways (Jacksonville Craig, FL). The Dash-8-300 had been in maintenance at Calgary in Canada.
Fly Angola already operates one leased E145 and a B737-700 wet-leased from Mongolia's Eznis Airways (MG, Ulaanbaatar), ch-aviation fleets data reveals.
Fly Angola currently serves a domestic network including Luanda, Dundo, Saurimo, and Lubango.
