CAMEX Airlines (Z7, Tbilisi) is set to add its first B737-800(SF) in the coming days, adding a second conversion STC to its fleet, Cargo Facts has reported.
N380WS (msn 33380) is owned by World Star Aviation and was formerly operated in passenger configuration by Virgin Australia. The 19-year-old aircraft was converted at Miami International by Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) and is currently parked at Montpellier. The airline said it expected delivery to Tbilisi before the end of March 2023.
The Georgian cargo specialist, which launched in September 2022, had planned to have four B737 freighters by the end of 2022 but currently operates a single B737-800(BCF), the ch-aviation fleets module shows.
The airline recently announced a plan to launch CAMEX Adria Airlines, which will debut with a single B737-800(BCF), OE-IBB (msn 33973).
