Marathon Airlines (O8, Athens) is growing its fleet with the recent arrival of its first ERJ 190-100LR leased from Azorra, according to ch-aviation research.
The 15-year-old 98-seater SX-PTM (msn 19000163) landed at Athens on May 25, according to social media posts. The aircraft was previously operated by BA CityFlyer (CJ, London City) as G-LCYW.
The Greek ACMI/private charter and aircraft management specialist already has a fleet of three E175LRs leased from Azorra Aviation and Blackbird Capital respectively. It also has one Legacy 600 currently in maintenance at Ben Slimane, Morocco, the ch-aviation fleets module reveals.
Aside from charters, Marathon Airlines also offers scheduled flights between Athens and Benghazi, Libya.
