IAG International Airlines Group has firmed ten A320neo Family options with Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac), secured under an order placed in September 2022.
"These aircraft will be delivered in 2028 and will be used by any of the Group's current airlines to replace A320ceo family aircraft," the holding said in a stock market filing.
IAG confirmed that it can convert the options to either A320-200Ns or A321-200Ns.
Prior to the announcement, IAG had firm orders for forty-one A320neo Family aircraft alongside twenty-five B737-8-200s and twenty-five B737-10s. The ch-aviation fleets module shows that IAG has placed its A320neo Family aircraft across all of its carriers. British Airways currently operates twenty A320neo and ten A321neo, Iberia - fifteen A320neo, Iberia Express - six A321neo, Aer Lingus - two A320neo and eight A321-200NX(LR)s, and Vueling Airlines - twenty-five A320neo and four A321neo.
