FTL Airlines (C0, Paris Chalons-Vatry) took delivery of its first A330-200(AMF) Class E converted freighter on July 27, 2023.
F-HFTL (msn 871) operated its first test flight under its new, French registration on August 7 at Châteauroux Déols Marcel Dassault airport. Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows it has since been active on proving flights within France and to Luxembourg. It is currently based out of Paris Chalons-Vatry.
The 15.9-year-old aircraft is leased from AELF - Aircraft Engine Lease Finance and was previously operated by the lessor's commercial partner, Maleth-Aero (DB, Malta International). Its conversion was completed in late 2022 under Avensis's Supplemental Type Certificate (STC).
FTL Airlines has yet to disclose its business plan. The carrier is owned by logistics firm FTL Group, which did not respond to ch-aviation's request for comment.
