SkyWest Airlines (OO, St. George Municipal) will order nineteen new E175s from Embraer (EMB, São José dos Campos U.E. Stumpf International) to operate under the United Express banner after reaching an agreement with United Airlines (UA, Chicago O'Hare).

"SkyWest is coordinating with its major airline partners to optimise the timing of upcoming fleet deliveries under this and previously announced agreements," the airline said.

These aircraft for United Airlines will be delivered in 2024 (four), 2025 (seven), and 2026 (eight). SkyWest currently has four E175s due from the Brazilian manufacturer for its operations on behalf of Delta Air Lines (three with deliveries in 2023 and 2024) and American Airlines (one in 2025).

The ch-aviation fleets module shows that SkyWest currently operates 235 E175s. It owns 205 of these aircraft, deploying them under capacity purchase agreements with Alaska Airlines (42), American Airlines (20), Delta Air Lines (78), and United Airlines (65). The remaining thirty aircraft are placed with SkyWest Airlines by United Airlines (25) and Delta Air Lines (five). SkyWest also operates 143 CRJ200s, 122 CRJ700s, and forty-four CRJ900s.
