Ventura Air Services (VNT, Farmingdale) has acquired Teterboro-based AOG maintenance company Alpha Aircraft Services. The transaction closed on April 1, with Ventura saying it wants to leverage the expertise and resources of Alpha Aircraft Services to increase its range of services and customer value.
"The decision to acquire Alpha Aircraft Services was driven by our commitment to aircraft reliability and the desire to strengthen our retail service offerings,” said Ventura Air Services President Sam Wolf.
According to its website, Ventura operates a fleet of six Challenger 604s and five Citation Excels. The company operates private charters in addition to running aircraft sales, management, maintenance, and avionics businesses. Alpha Air Services, meanwhile, has been in business since 2010.
