Heron Aviation (HRN, Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH) will soon add its first narrowbody bizliner, a B737-500 configured for up to 90 passengers, Spanish private aircraft broker Welojets revealed during a recent press briefing.
Heron Aviation did not divulge the identity of the aircraft when approached by ch-aviation.
The German carrier currently operates one E145, one Cessna 560 Citation XLS+, two Cessna 510 Mustangs (both registered in Spain), one Cessna 525 Citation, one Cessna 525 Citation M2, and one Learjet 60. It also recently inducted its first Falcon 8X. The company already has an office close to Madrid Barajas airport.
Welojets disclosed the B737-500 plan during the presentation of its first available Gulfstream G550, EC-OFG (msn 5411), which was ferried to Madrid on February 8, 2024, and will be operated by Gestair Private Jets (GES, Madrid Barajas). It is the second of the type in the Spanish carrier's fleet.
