Qatar Airways (QR, Doha Hamad International) has taken delivery of its first B787-8 A7-BCB (MSN 38320) although the aircraft is still in the US currently undergoing some interior work at Victorville. It plans to use the first of 30 of B787-8s on its route from Doha Hamad International to London Heathrow from December onwards. Qatar currently operates five daily services on the route using a mix of all of its long-haul aircraft with A330-200s, A330-300s, A340-600s, B777-200(LR)s and B777-300(ER)s all being used on the route.
