Global Air Charters (GJE, Teterboro) and United Arab Emirates-based charter broker Mayfair Jets have signed a joint venture agreement including a block-hour, year-long commitment initially for a single aircraft from the American operator's fleet.

The two companies began working on the JV in January 2024 taking around four months to implement. It includes an option to add a second airframe within 60 days of signing.

"Working with Mayfair Jets will allow Global Air Charters to expand its exposure and presence to the Middle East and European markets," Global Air Charters CEO Michael Vanacore-Netz said.

Global Air Charters specialises in long-range and ultra-long-range Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft and currently operates an in-house charter fleet comprising one GIV and four GVs. None of the five aircraft appears to be based out of the Middle East for the time being.
